Overview
I bought my first “cool car” on a whim, an Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Sport. The first few days were pure excitement. I kept asking the same question over and over: there have to be other people nearby who are into this too.
Finding them was harder than expected. Events were scattered across different platforms, clubs felt invisible unless you already knew someone, and most interactions stopped at parking lots or comment sections. I wanted something that made the community feel discoverable, not hidden.
Car details come alive with specs, photos, and modification list.
The real breaking point came once we actually drove together. Group cruises looked great on paper, but quickly unraveled in practice. One missed turn, a red light, or a gas stop was all it took for the group to fragment into texts and guesswork.
That gap between meeting people and actually staying together on the road is where Convoy Mode was born. A shared map, live positions, and simple waypoints replaced hand signals and constant check-ins. From there, everything else clicked.
Velox grew outward from that core. Garage-first profiles to express who you are, discovery tools to find people and events nearby, and flows designed to get a convoy started in seconds and keep it intact once the wheels are moving.
